Trvlandsea is a Hawaiʻi Island based art studio creating unique wood pieces inspired by the landscapes, textures, and quiet beauty of the islands.

At the center of the work is artist and woodworker Seth Greene, whose 18+ years of experience with wood have shaped a style rooted in craftsmanship, natural materials, and thoughtful design.

Every piece begins with the wood itself.

Rather than covering or disguising its character, Seth works with the grain, shape, movement, and imperfections already present in the material, allowing each piece to become something entirely its own.

From sculptural paddles and surf inspired wall art to custom statement pieces, Seth Greene creates work designed to bring warmth, texture, and a sense of place into the spaces it lives in.

An Evolution Back to Wood

Trvlandsea began with a love for creating art inspired by the ocean and landscapes of Hawaiʻi.

Over the years, Seth became known for combining locally sourced wood with resin to create pieces that reflected aerial coastlines, waves, lava fields, and other natural landscapes.

But as the work evolved, so did the focus.

Today, Seth Greene is returning more deeply to the material that has always been at the heart of the work: wood.

The emphasis is now on natural grain, sculptural form, locally sourced materials, and designs that feel timeless rather than trend-driven.

The result is work that still carries the feeling of Hawaiʻi — not through literal interpretation, but through material, movement, and form

Each Trvlandsea piece is individually handcrafted on Hawaiʻi Island.

We work with locally sourced wood chosen for its natural character, grain, shape, and history.

No two boards are identical.

No two pieces are meant to be the same.

That means the knots, live edges, movement, color variation, and natural imperfections of the wood become part of the final artwork rather than something to hide.

We believe those details are what make a piece worth keeping.

We create both available artwork and custom commissions for private homes, interior designers, hospitality spaces, vacation properties, and commercial projects.

A commission may begin with a specific vision or simply a photograph of an empty wall that needs the right piece.
